Impetus for a Greener & Agricultural Saudi Arabia

Oil will not last forever and neither will the prosperity it brings to Saudi Arabia. With the recent maturity in renewable energy technologies the prospect of going green is not too far away. Furthermore, given the Kingdom's vast assets the vision of establishing the country as a future agricultural nation is also not as far-fetched as some would presume it to be. With that short introduction it is worth mentioning this site's objective: to provide regular updates on the team's proposed design on a controlled-environment agricultural process -- suited for the shifting sands of Arabia -- that aims to start an agricultural revolution in the country.

An older part of Saudi Arabia, where everything from local bakeries to
coffee shops rely on the country's main export: oil.
